Project Star Gate
Roberto Bartali
Officially from 1973 to 1995, the United States government resorted to a psychic espionage unit, a group of psychics (and not) recruited from civilians (especially in the early days) and the military who, thanks to their innate skills and, later, to the use of specific training, were able to carry out intelligence operations “remotely”, that is, without being physically in the field. Created as a response to the research programs that were then underway in the Soviet Union, over the years this unit has been managed and/or funded by some of the main agencies of the US government: the CIA, and then the DoD (Department of Defense), with DIA, NASA, DARPA, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army… After 23 years of activity and about 20 million dollars invested, the “STAR GATE” program (this is the code name of the last program) was officially closed by the same CIA that started it. There have been four decades of experiments, checks, “remote viewing” sessions in which OOBe (out-of-body experiences) were induced or even messages transcribed from channeled entities (always for the purpose of espionage, of course). With many failures, but also with several resounding successes. This is a history book, and it talks about all this, with method and historical rigor, and with the use of documents that emerged thanks to the FOIA in the CIA reading room; documents that in some cases are reported in full. And, probably, for the first time.
